it's been a long time hasn't it??
actually i haven't finished my exams~ but i only have mathsy stuff left so i'm not scared anymore ^^ i just finished a VERY LONGGGGGGGG economics exam~ it felt good xD so i'm in high spirits to write another entry today~

SO MANY THING HAVE HAPPENED SINCE I LAST WROTE HERE
both to myself and in my idols' world haha~

first of all, I'M GOING TO CHINA THIS SUMMER!!! WHOOP!
it's just for a holiday but still xDDD i'm SOOOO EXCITED
i managed to find myself quite a famous maths tutor in china~ he's so well known in the area that he's a sort of guru, and we have to travel up to his house to get training~
i desperately need training to enhance my maths skills, as i will be taking the cambridge STEP exams straight after i get back to school *eek* so i need to become very very very brainy over the summer~ this person doesn't even speak my language! haha~ but i will try to understand...

anyways, on 29th May i went to the London Anime Expo~~ once again haha~ i always say that i'll skip this one, but then when the time comes i always end up in there xD
i only went this time because i locked myself in my bedroom for a week of intensive revision, and had 4 exams one after the other the previous week
also, i heard that some sellers had been hoarding tonnes of photobooks, fans, cushions, posters, you name it of famous Kpop idols~
in the end it was only DBSK, Super Junior, SNSD, Rain, Lee Junki, and many Johnny boys that i saw~
but i managed to get myself 4 new posters and a Purple Line fan xDD

okayyyy.... now i'm going to spazz about DBSK xD as usual haha
first of all, CONGRATULATIONS TO JEJUNG, JUNSU AND YUCHUN FOR THEIR 2 LIVES @ THE KYOCERA DOME IN OSAKA! *CLAPS*
even though it was JYJ and not DBSK this time...i'm still glad they chose to continue their singing~
when they confessed to their fans how much pain they went through and about wanting to give it all up last october, i felt quite sad~
because i didn't expect DBSK to give up so easily~
but then again i had the same feeling and got over it
so i guess it's okay because they managed to get over their sadness and continued~

for me the highlight of the concert was not actually MAZE as i expected...don't get me wrong MAZE WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING~ jaejoong wore a leather waistcoat outside a tartan patterned shirt, long, black leather gloves on one hand and men-styled high heels (haha) shoes~ he looked SEXY... especially since he was standing on this vent which blew out air and made his hair wild xD *rants*
anyways, the highlight was actually their cover of Whitney Houston's I Have Nothing
it was the most AMAZING thing i've EVER HEARD
okay i have heard Charice Pempengco's cover, which blew me off my feet~
but this is THREE GUYS singing this song WHO DON'T EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH
and yet they managed to convey all the emotions~

actually i have heard this song many times because it's so famous here and everybody sings either this or 'Greatest Love of All' for any singing auditions~
but in this rendition i got goosebumps~ maybe it's because the i've got nothing, nothing, nothing bit relates to their current situation so well~ you might think they were singing to cassiopeia~ or even Homin xDD
but after watching them becoming happier and happier each day, i can't help but feel sorry for homin~ because i know that i've been spazzing so much about this Thanksgiving In Dome
concert series that i've very much neglected the 'other' two, as they are now referred to as~~ which is why while i fangirl over JYJ, i have to bring out some old Homin material to spazz alongside~ i hope that JYJ don't get used to that name~ even though they're still perfect, i hope that they won't forget their brother~

also, since the end of the exams are nearing *YAAAY* i felt it was appropriate to cover another song~~
even though i know that DBSK covers gets the most views (and of course i will be covering Junsu's Kanashimi No Yukue sometime in the near future)
i thought it would be nice to sing a Han Hee Jung song, since i'm so obsessed with her recently~ but then another singer called Park Hye Kyung walked into my life and i have been listening to her songs everyday for the past week or so~
both artistes have very pure, 'real' voices (as in they don't try to vibrato or use any fancy techniques)
and they use natural instruments to back~ such as the piano, acoustic guitar with some bass and strings~ in their recordings they keep a lot of natural sounds such as the strings vibrating on guitars, breathing and imperfections in their voices~ which i love~ i can't deny that ワビーサビis so in right now xD (wabi sabi means the natural beauty of something imperfect)
which means none of that computerised crap (or maybe this) which i'm cutting down from my music list right now~ frankly it damages your ears haha~
